She became a member of the 10TV family in October 2002 and joins veteran anchor Chuck Strickler, Live Doppler 10 meteorologist Mike Davis and traffic reporter Karina Nova for morning newscasts.
Pick is a native of Platteville, Wis. Prior to her arriving at 10TV News HD, she worked for ten years as a reporter-anchorwoman at WREX in Rockford, Ill., where she was honored by the Illinois Associated Press for a documentary on breast cancer survivors.
She said that her first television appearance was a "first day of school" story back when she was in Kindergarten. "I was the blur walking across the screen," Pick said.
Heather and husband, Joe, are the proud parents of two children, a daughter and a son.
