Chris Kettler
Photographer
"It's gratifying to know that something you've worked on has directly helped people or caused change for the better," Kettler said.
After graduating from Bowling Green State University, Kettler worked at WNWO-TV in Toledo, where he was a photographer but occasionally reported. He jumped across town to WTOL-TV a year later where he said he worked with a great staff of photographers. He then moved to WKRN-TV in Nashville, Tenn., before beginning his career at 10TV in July 1990.
Kettler said his memorable experience at 10TV was spending about a week covering the 1993 Lucasville prison riot.
"We worked crazy hours and dealt with extremely unusual circumstances covering those events," Kettler said. "It was a week I'll always remember."
Kettler is married and has two boys. He is a director on the board of Worthington Youth Boosters and coaches and commissions several sports. Besides the Buckeyes, Kettler loves the Cincinnati Bengals and Reds. He also enjoys jet skiing.
