A Milwaukee native and Northwestern University graduate, Connelly most recently worked as an anchor and reporter in Springfield, Mo. Prior to that, she worked at television stations in Joplin, Mo. and Topeka, Kan.
In 2005, Connelly won a regional Edward R. Murrow award for Best News Series after reporting on several stories investigating child abuse allegations at religious reform schools.
