Brittany Westbrook

Reporter

Brittany Westbrook is excited to be back at home.  The Columbus native graduated from Columbus School for Girls in 1998 and Northwestern University in 2002.

Brittany began her career while still in college, reporting for WGEM-TV in Quincy, IL.  After college, she moved on to WKEF/WRGT in Dayton, OH, and then to WFMZ-TV in Allentown, PA where she was a reporter and weekend anchor.

She says when it comes to careers, journalism just made sense.  It gives her a license to ask all of the questions she would ask anyway and allows her to talk too much without apologizing.

"What I like most about this job is meeting so many people," Westbrook said.  "We are in the business of telling people's stories, and I try to keep the human element in perspective every day."

Brittany has a large family in Columbus, including two of the cutest nephews in America.  She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
