Her career has enabled her to interview numerous presidential candidates, suit-up and battle flames with firefighters and gain access to hidden homeless camps in central Ohio to share the intimate stories of those who live there. 

Anietra's most memorable story involved an exclusive behind the scenes experience with the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds where she pulled 9G's in a rare flight on an F-16 fighter jet.

Anietra was most recently the morning and midday Anchor at WCMH-TV in Columbus, where she spent nine years.  Anietra previously worked at WKEF/WRGT in Dayton, Ohio and WTTE/WSYX in Columbus, Ohio.  Anietra's passion for news and politics also took her to Washington D.C. to work for The McLaughlin Group cable news debate forum.

Anietra graduated Cum Laude from Heidelberg College in Tiffin, Ohio, with a B.A. in Communications and Political Science.  She also studied journalism at The American University in Washington, D.C.

Besides numerous awards for journalism, speech writing and public speaking, Anietra has been recognized for her work in the community.  She has received the YWCA Women of Achievement Award, The U.S. Congressional Award, the JC Penney Golden Rule Award and the Jefferson Award for her public service.  She has volunteered her time with the YWCA and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Anietra strives to find her work/life balance through fishing, photography, fitness and playing with her dog, Sunny, who she rescued.
