Pennington names director for medical unit

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Dr. Kishore Gadde has been named medical director of Pennington Biomedical Research Center's Allen A. Copping In-Patient Medical Unit.

Gadde's work has focused on obesity management and he will work at Pennington to develop a clinical obesity and wellness program.

Gadde comes to Pennington Biomedical from Duke University, where he served on the faculty in the departments of medicine and psychiatry.
