Husband arrested in Philadelphia jogger's death

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — The husband of a jogger found strangled in a Philadelphia park after going on an evening run has been arrested in her death.

Authorities announced the arrest of 48-year-old Christopher Murray at a news conference Sunday afternoon.

Police say his 46-year-old wife, Constance Murray, was found dead Tuesday in Pennypack Park in northeast Philadelphia. The mother of two had been out running the night before.

Lt. Philip Riehl says Christopher Murray confessed to killing his wife after an argument.

Police had earlier said Christopher Murray and the couple's daughter went searching for Constance Murray after she didn't return from her run. Her husband later filed a missing-person's report.

Court papers weren't immediately available, and it's unclear if Murray has an attorney.
