GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) — Two more cases of rabies have been reported in Davidson County, bringing to eight the number so far this year.
The News-Record of Greensboro reports (http://bit.ly/1muLCsn ) that a rabid skunk was killed by a dog in Tyro on July 22. The dog had not been properly vaccinated and had to be destroyed.
Then on July 26, a dog picked up a rabid raccoon that had been shot in West Lexington. That dog also had to be destroyed.
