Spokesman: Hospice house in St. Louis on lockdown

ST. LOUIS (AP) — A spokesman says a hospice house in south St. Louis County is on lockdown after a report of an armed intruder.

St. Anthony's Medical Center media relations coordinator Joe Poelker says the report came into security about 6:30 a.m. Saturday.

Poelker says the de Greeff Hospice House is on the medical center campus, but is in a separate building from the hospital.

He says St. Louis County police are on scene and that St. Anthony's has increased its own security.

The St. Louis County police would not provide details.
