MTA exterminates bedbugs in subway

NEW YORK (AP) — New York City transit officials say bedbugs found on three subway trains this week have been exterminated.

All the bedbugs were found on the N line.

The Daily News ( ) reports that two trains were taken out of service on Sunday after the bugs were found on board some cars. A third N train was found to have bedbugs on Tuesday.

A MTA spokesman says the trains have been fumigated.
