Questions linger after missing teen returns home

NORTH CONWAY, N.H. (AP) — Since her return last week to her New Hampshire home, 15-year-old Abigail Hernandez has been removed from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children's website, and missing-person posters around her hometown have now been scrawled with "Found."

But investigators are left with questions about how and why she vanished nine months ago after leaving her high school and who may have helped conceal her. Law enforcement officers have repeatedly asked for the public's help but have revealed very little.

Abby returned to her North Conway home July 20.

Based on Abby's description, authorities released a sketch of the man she says drove her away. But authorities say they still don't know whether she went willingly.

Prosecutor Jane Young won't comment on Abby's degree of cooperation in the investigation.
