Ohio student death ruled suicide, no foul play

CINCINNATI (AP) — A coroner says there are no signs of foul play in the death of a University of Cincinnati student whose apparent disappearance triggered a wide search in May.

The Hamilton County coroner says 21-year-old Brogan Dulle (DUHL'-ee) died of asphyxiation by hanging. The report Tuesday stated he used an electrical cord. He died within minutes and had no other significant injuries.

Authorities have said a bottle of wine was found near the body, but no note.

The sophomore was last seen at about 2 a.m. May 18. He left his apartment without wallet or keys, telling friends he was going to look for his cellphone.

Some 1,000 friends, family and volunteers helped look for him before his body was found May 26 in a vacant building next to his apartment.
