Woman's body found; 2 arrested, heroin suspected

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Authorities have arrested two men after a woman's body was found dumped in a ditch after a suspected heroin overdose death.

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office says the woman became unresponsive after doing heroin with the men on Friday. Authorities say instead of calling for help, the men went to bed.

The sheriff's office said Corey Roberts and Nicholas McCord were arrested Monday and charged with abuse of a corpse in the death of 21-year-old Jordyn Hollingsworth.

Both men are in Franklin County Jail, where records did not list attorneys.

Police say after waking up Saturday and finding Hollingsworth was dead, the two men loaded her body into a car, drove to a secluded road north of Interstate 70 and dumped her in a ditch near a cornfield.
