COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — A regulatory panel is ready to release the latest monthly revenue figures for Ohio's four voter-approved casinos.
The latest financial report was due Monday afternoon from the Ohio Casino Control Commission.
The figures for May were up slightly from the previous month and totaled about $71.2 million. The casinos in Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus and Toledo have drawn more than $346 million so far this year.
The state collects about one-third in taxes and distributes the money to Ohio's 88 counties, as well as school districts and host cities, among others.
