Fox that attacked central Pa. woman had rabies

BOALSBURG, Pa. (AP) — Officials in central Pennsylvania say a fox that attacked a woman last week has tested positive for rabies.

The Centre Daily Times (http://bit.ly/1r05AyE ) reports that the gray fox attacked a resident in the Willowbrook neighborhood of Centre County's Harris Township.

Officials are warning that a second gray fox exhibiting similar behavior has been seen in the Hill neighborhoods.

They say anyone who sees a fox behaving oddly should avoid the animal and contact State College police.
