Morning fire destroys 3 Ohio homes; family escapes

MARION, Ohio (AP) — An early morning fire has destroyed three homes in north-central Ohio with residents escaping thanks to a neighbor's help.

Fire officials say the Tuesday blaze started at a home in Marion where four adults and 10 children were living.

WCMH-TV reports ( ) the family was able to escape when a neighbor kicked in the door to alert them.

The station says crews were called about 3 a.m.

The cause has not been determined.
