SANDUSKY, Ohio (AP) — Cedar Point has been temporarily shut down after a water main break disrupted the amusement park's main water supply.
The park overlooking Lake Erie in northwest Ohio closed Saturday as the city of Sandusky worked to repair the water main. Updates were being posted to Cedar Point's website.
Park officials said the lack of a normal water supply raised safety and operational issues. Employees were also called and told to stay home until further notice.
The park says all guest tickets for Saturday will be honored on future dates this season.
The park is owned by amusement park operator Cedar Fair Entertainment Co.
