CINCINNATI (AP) — A man accused of starting a brawl at a kindergarten graduation near Cincinnati this week is due in court.
Police say 33-year-old Raymond Walker is being held without bond on charges of assault and inducing panic. He was scheduled to appear in court Friday morning. It wasn't clear if he had an attorney yet.
The Cincinnati Enquirer (http://cin.ci/1j5SA5c ) reports that Walker turned himself in Thursday afternoon.
Police say one man hit another while newly graduated kindergarten students were celebrating with punch and cookies, triggering a melee that involved up to 20 people and resulted in the lockdown of the Mount Healthy elementary school.
Mount Healthy superintendent Lori Handler says Walker was the father of one of the kindergarteners and allegedly attacked the current boyfriend of the child's mother.
