Reports: Man sought by FBI spotted at pub

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Federal agents and San Francisco police searching for a social media maven suspected of possessing explosives are focusing on the city's Lower Haight neighborhood after news reports say the man was spotted in a bar there Monday afternoon.

A bartender at the Mad Dog in the Fog told KPIX 5 that FBI agents were in the bar Monday afternoon and questioned staff about a man who was there around 2 p.m. The man matched the description of 42-year-old Ryan Kelly Chamberlain II

The agents and police officers talked to possible witnesses and surveyed the area.

Multiple agencies, including hazardous materials crews, searched Chamberlain's apartment Saturday in San Francisco's Russian Hill neighborhood, blocking off the street to vehicle and pedestrian traffic for much of the day.
