CINCINNATI (AP) — A spokeswoman for the family of a missing Cincinnati college student says volunteer search efforts are being placed on hold for now.
Spokeswoman Laura Lewis said Monday that more than 1,000 volunteers have helped to try to find University of Cincinnati sophomore Brogan Dulle (DUHL'-ee). The 21-year-old was last seen around 2 a.m. May 18 after leaving his apartment to look for his missing cellphone.
Lewis said the family will not be organizing volunteer search efforts until further notice, because volunteers have covered an extensive search area multiple times. She said the family is leaving the search to the Cincinnati police, the FBI and the group Texas EquuSearch.
Volunteers planned to hand out filers and T-shirts Monday at the Taste of Cincinnati to spread the word that Dulle was missing.
