3 elected Ohio AP media organization Hall of Fame

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — A television anchor, political columnist and magazine writer were inducted Sunday into the 2014 class of the Ohio Associated Press Media Editors Hall of Fame.

The Hall of Fame's inaugural class inducted Chrys Peterson, retired anchor at WTOL-TV in Toledo; Joe Hallett, retired political reporter for The Columbus Dispatch; and Simeon Booker, retired reporter for Jet and Ebony magazines.

The induction took place at the Ohio Associated Press Media Editors association's annual convention.

The Associated Press is a not-for-profit news cooperative serving 1,500 newspapers and 5,000 broadcast stations in the United States, including 85 daily newspapers and 150 radio and TV stations in Ohio.
