Ohio man robbed after dropping off Facebook date

AKRON, Ohio (AP) — Police in northeast Ohio say a man had his car and wallet stolen after dropping off a woman he had met on Facebook.

The 20-year-old man told Akron police that the woman made a phone call as they pulled up at a house Monday night. As the woman walked up the driveway and around the house to the back, two men grabbed the man and pulled him from the car.

One of the robbers fired a shot into the air and threatened to shoot the man. He ran to a nearby house and asked the resident to call the police.

The house where he dropped off the woman turned out to be vacant. The woman and robbers haven't been identified. The Akron Beacon Journal (http://bit.ly/1kmeRx3 ) reports police are still investigating.
