COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — An 18-year-old man has been killed and two other young people have been injured in separate shootings in central Ohio.
Columbus police said Dresan Armstrong was pronounced dead at a hospital following a shooting at about 9 p.m. Tuesday at the rear of a home east of downtown. A 17-year-old boy also was shot but survived. Police are looking for the shooter.
Several hours earlier, 21-year-old Natasha Bryant told police she was shot in the back by an unknown male who then fled. She was hospitalized in stable condition.
Armstrong's killing was the city's 19th homicide of the year.
