Youth pleads guilty in Ohio crash that killed 2

CINCINNATI (AP) — A southwest Ohio teenager driving in a crash that killed two other teens has pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated vehicular homicide.

Kyle Stein pleaded guilty Monday to the two felony counts, while two others were dismissed in Hamilton County Common Pleas Court. Authorities said the 18-year-old Stein was drunk and speeding when he lost control and hit a parked car in the Cincinnati suburb of Colerain Township last September.

Passengers 16-year-old Rachel McGrath and 19-year-old Eric Moormann were killed. Authorities said Stein tested positive for alcohol and marijuana.

Stein faces up to 10 years in prison and revocation of his driver's license when sentenced April 22. Common Pleas Judge Steven Martin ordered Stein to jail on Monday.

Attorney R. Scott Croswell III declined to comment on the plea.
