CINCINNATI (AP) — Two of Hollywood's hottest stars and the crew of the film they're shooting soon will overtake a suburban Cincinnati steakhouse that's been an institution since 1949.
Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara have been in the Cincinnati area for more than a week to shoot "Carol," a story of two women in 1950s New York who begin a romantic relationship.
The Cincinnati Enquirer reports (http://cin.ci/1fwpv0d ) that the actresses will be filming a romantic date at Maury's Tiny Cove in the Cincinnati suburb of Cheviot on April 1.
Maury's owner Matt Huesman says the scene will be filmed in the steakhouse's "red room," filled with red and black vinyl booths, wood paneling and dim lighting.
The entire movie will be filmed over several weeks in Cincinnati. No release date has been announced.
