CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — Three New Hampshire communities are being honored by the federal government for excellence in water fluoridation to decrease the rate of tooth decay.

The New Hampshire Health Department's Division of Public Health is honoring the City of Concord Water Treatment, the Laconia Water Works, and the Lebanon Water Department with water fluoridation quality awards from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
