CINCINNATI (AP) — An Ohio juvenile court judge accused of misusing county credit cards and backdating court documents is set for a hearing.
Judge Tracie Hunter is set to appear Tuesday before a Hamilton County Common Pleas judge in Cincinnati for a scheduling matter.
Hunter has pleaded not guilty to nine felony charges. She is being allowed to remain free on her promise to attend all her court dates.
Hunter, a Democrat, has indicated she believes she is being targeted for political reasons.
She was indicted on counts including tampering with evidence, forgery and theft in office. Her indictment followed an investigation by two special prosecutors prompted by a memo accusing Hunter or someone in her office of backdating court documents in "a conscious act of deception."
