PHOENIX (AP) — Authorities say a small plane has crashed and caught fire near Deer Valley Airport, but there is no immediate report of any injuries.
Witnesses say all three people aboard walked away from the crash.
One person reportedly needed treatment for burn injuries to an arm.
The names of the three people weren't immediately released.
Federal Aviation Administration officials say the plane crashed under unknown circumstances at 7th Street and Deer Valley Road around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The plane was then engulfed in flames but responding emergency crews quickly doused the flames.
FAA officials believe the plane is a single-engine Piper PA 28.
There's no immediate word on who owned the plane.
