Bipolar disorder is topic at Omaha Science Cafe

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Bipolar disorder is the focus of Tuesday's Omaha Science Café.

Dr. Steven Wengel will discuss the symptoms and treatment and how to cope with the disorder. Wengel is a geriatric psychiatrist and chairman of the Psychiatry Department at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.

The event is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Slowdown, 729 N. 14th St., Omaha.

Science Cafes are free educational events sponsored by UNMC and other groups to increase people's science literacy. They are open to everyone 21 and older.
