Woman found in burning home died of head trauma

MURRAY, Utah (AP) — An initial autopsy report shows an 85-year-old Murray woman found over the weekend in a burning home died of head trauma.

Murray police say they're still trying to find whoever is responsible for Shirley Sharp's death.

Investigators found her dead early Saturday after a Utah Transit Authority police officer pulled over a car in a bus-loading zone and the male driver later drove off.

The car's license plate number led police to a Murray home, which officers found on fire. Sharp was inside.

Police were searching for the car driver for questioning.

Sharp's family members told the Deseret News (http://bit.ly/1dM0ywB ) they're trying to focus less on Sharp's "horrible and senseless" death and more on her life. They described her as loving, hard-working and the anchor of the family.
