Snow and wind lead to dangerous conditions in Ohio

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Winter weather advisories are in effect for most of the state and officials have warned of dangerous driving conditions caused by blowing and drifting snow.

The National Weather Service warned of snow being whipped by 40mph winds that is causing near zero visibilities and whiteout conditions for much of the southwest and central part of the state.

A cold front moving across the state Saturday morning will lead to temperatures dropping into the single digits with wind chills well below zero by Saturday night.
