Woman's death in Ohio considered possible homicide

SOUTH RUSSELL, Ohio (AP) — Authorities are investigating a possible homicide at a home in an upscale area east of Cleveland.

The Geauga (jee-AW'-guh) County prosecutor and state crime investigators were at the scene in Russell Township before dawn Wednesday.

Prosecutor Jim Flaiz told The News-Herald in Willoughby (http://bit.ly/1fZLcMz ) that police are investigating a woman's death. The coroner was called out and a warrant was issued to search the home.

Police kept the house dark inside and used flashlights to search. Yellow tape was tied around the perimeter of the property.

There was no immediate update from the sheriff or coroner in response to messages on Wednesday.
