Ore. school wiped clean after students sickened

BEAVERTON, Ore. (AP) — Rock Creek Elementary has been wiped clean.

KGW-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1e4imDW ) that crews at the school in Beaverton completed the laborious task of disinfecting the entire school Saturday. That came after Friday's school closure due to a suspected norovirus outbreak that sickened more than 100 students and several staff members.

Rock Creek has 540 students.

The school district has been working with the Washington County Department of Health and Human Services to stop the spread of the illness.
