PLASTIC SURGERY CONVENTION — Hundreds of the world s leading professionals dedicated to safe cosmetic surgery will gather for "The Future of Cosmetic Surgery: Advances in Quality Patient Care and Safety, the topic for the Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS). AACS is the premiere professional Society of Cosmetic Surgeons. On display will also be nearly 150 exhibits showcasing the newest products, equipment and procedures.

Jan. 18. 4 p.m. CIVIL RIGHTS PHOTOGRAPHY — Opening Celebration for The Movement: Bob Adelman and Civil Rights Era Photography, presented by AutoNation. This exhibition commemorates the 50th Anniversary of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and features 150 photographs by renowned photojournalist Bob Adelman, whose work during the civil rights era put him at the forefront of the civil rights movement and led him to produce some of the most iconic photographs of the period.
