Flu forces visitor limits at Gillette hospital

GILLETTE, Wyo. (AP) — Campbell County Memorial Hospital is implementing restrictions on visitors because of an increasing number of flu cases.

All visitors must wear a mask and use hand sanitizer before visiting the Pioneer Manor facility. The Gillette News Record reports (http://goo.gl/q3GCwG ) that children younger than 12 are not allowed at the facility or at the maternity ward.

The restrictions are in place until the number of flu cases decreases.

Campbell County has the highest number of flu cases reported in Wyoming as of Dec. 21. The Wyoming Department of Health says 167 of the state's 460 flu cases are in Campbell County.
