CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire residents struggling to quit smoking are being asked to produce short video letters to themselves.
The "Dear Me New Hampshire" contest is based in the idea that only a smoker can make him or herself quit. The state Division of Public Health is asking people to write letters to themselves about quitting and post them online. The contest runs from Dec. 15 through March. The winners, who will be chosen in April or May, will have their videos professionally produced.
Details of the contest are at the website www.TryToStopNH.org.
