CLEVELAND (AP) — Police in Cleveland are searching for three suspects after a man was fatally shot during an apparent robbery at a commuter rail station.
The suspects were still at large following the shooting Monday just before 8 p.m. at a Rapid station on the city's west side.
Responding officers found the 28-year-old victim shot in the chest. He died later at a hospital. His name hasn't been released.
Police said three men attempted to rob the victim and a friend. As the two tried to run away, one of the robbers fired a shot and hit the victim in the chest.
The robbers fled on foot.
