CINCINNATI (AP) — A major Ohio law firm is expanding into Chicago.
Cincinnati-based Taft Stettinius & Hollister says it has merged with Shefsky & Froelich (FRAY'-lik). The 70-lawyer firm will become part of Taft law in January.
The broadly based law practices of Taft already include seven offices in four states, with more than 330 attorneys. The Chicago office will add Illinois to Taft's presences in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and Arizona.
Taft last year merged with the Columbus law firm Chester Willcox & Saxbe.
