DAYTON, Ohio (AP) — An 18-year-old man accused of fatally shooting a Michigan salesman in an armed home invasion in southwest Ohio has been indicted on charges including murder and aggravated robbery.
Montgomery County Prosecutor Mat Heck Jr. says 18-year-old Anthony Donald Brown of Dayton was indicted Tuesday. He's charged in the Oct. 26 shooting of 42-year-old Allen Lindeman of Plainwell, Mich.
Heck says Brown was arrested days after the Dayton shooting. The teen also was indicted on kidnapping, aggravated burglary, felonious assault and weapons charges.
Court records didn't show an attorney for Brown.
Police say Lindeman was shot during the home invasion and robbery at a friend's house. Police say the salesman often stayed with friends while on the road and was known to carry large sums of cash, possibly from sales transactions.
