NEW YORK (AP) — Authorities say a construction shed apparently collapsed in New York City, injuring four people, and that high winds may have been a factor.
The Fire Department says three people were taken to a hospital Friday morning. Their conditions were not immediately known. A firefighter was also taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
CBS New York says (http://cbsloc.al/1aZlnUm ) some lanes of traffic were closed nearby in midtown Manhattan.
The Department of Buildings issued a warning to property owners Friday to secure construction sites and buildings as high winds whip through the area.
