CLEVELAND (AP) — A movie starring Katherine Heigl (HEYE'-guhl) and Tom Wilkinson will start filming next week in the Cleveland.
"Jenny's Wedding" is written and will be directed by Mary Agnes Donoghue, whose works include "Beaches" and "White Oleander."
The Greater Cleveland Film Commission says shooting will go on in the area for three to four weeks.
It's the latest success for the Cleveland film commission in landing a movie. Among upcoming movies that have already shot in Cleveland this year are "Draft Day" with Kevin Costner and "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" about the Marvel comics hero.
Ohio's motion picture tax credit has helped build the state's film business. A Cleveland State University study estimates $176 million in economic impact from 27 movie projects since 2009.
