COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Some areas of Ohio are seeing the first snow flakes of the season.
There are still about two months until the official start of winter, but below-average temperatures brought snow flurries to parts of northern and central Ohio on Wednesday morning, including Columbus. No accumulation was expected.
The unseasonable chill is expected to last the rest of the week. The forecast calls for overnight lows around freezing and highs only in the 40s, before a gradual warm-up heading into the weekend.
Daytime highs are expected to reach the 60s next week.
