GLOUSTER, Ohio (AP) — Authorities in southeastern Ohio believe they've found the body of a missing man in a cistern under his porch.
Police in Glouster in Athens County found the body Monday night. They haven't made a positive identification yet, but they believe it's 63-year-old Paul Roberts, who lived at the home and hasn't been seen for about two weeks.
Police discovered his body during a search after neighbors reported that property had been removed from the house.
Police have arrested Roberts' 40-year-old son and charged him with vandalism.
Athens County Prosecutor Keller Blackburn tells The Athens Messenger (http://bit.ly/17dg0FY ) that the body was wrapped, but he wouldn't give details. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday, and the investigation continues.
