CINCINNATI (AP) — A Cincinnati woman who police say stole a car with a 9-year-old boy inside is facing charges of kidnapping, theft and failing to comply with police.
Police arrested 26-year-old Tamara Walker on Saturday after they say she fled for about 5 miles.
It's unclear whether Walker yet has an attorney.
Police say she stole a car from a man who had gone into a convenience store while leaving his son in the car.
The boy was found safe shortly after.
Using data from a cell phone left inside the car, police tracked it down before Walker crashed into two cars.
She was treated and released for her injuries and then arrested. WCPO-TV reports that (http://bit.ly/1gULjqy) she has a court appearance set for Monday.
