CLEVELAND (AP) — A grand jury in Cleveland has indicted a man on charges of running a brothel out of his suburban office building.
The Cuyahoga (ky-uh-HOH'-guh) County grand jury charged 71-year-old James Walsh of Willoughby Hills with six counts of promoting prostitution and nine counts of money laundering.
Prosecutor Timothy McGinty says Walsh had a staff of prostitutes offering nude massages and sex acts at the Bedford office building that he owns.
Police cracked the case when a prostitute apparently suffered an overdose.
Walsh was booked into the county jail Wednesday night to await a court hearing.
No attorney was listed for him in court records. There was no immediate response to a request for comment left Thursday at the phone listed on a company Website.
