MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — Construction is expected to begin later this month on a more than 153,000 square-foot Veterans Affairs health care center in Montgomery.
The $35 million facility will include a pharmacy, a laboratory, a radiology clinic, an ophthalmology lab, a dental clinic and a women's health clinic.
Mayor Todd Strange told the Montgomery Advertiser (http://on.mgmadv.com/16lqsbJ ) he thinks the center will be a great addition to the area that will attract more veterans to Montgomery and central Alabama.
The center's developers, US Federal Properties, say the facility should be finished by 2015.
