SEATTLE (AP) — The website for Washington state's new health insurance exchange will be offline from 10 p.m. Wednesday through 6 a.m. Thursday for maintenance.
The wahealthplanfinder.org site was open and operating much of Wednesday, bu it was still experiencing problems during its second day of operation.
The site was slow and many people ran into computer glitches. Some were able to start applications but not complete them.
Still, some Washington residents were able to sign up for health insurance as part of the nation's new health care law.
More than 6,000 accounts have been created. Data on how many people have signed up for insurance won't be available until Friday.
