NEW YORK (AP) — Some of the big names in folk music converged on New York's Town Hall for a concert celebrating the new Coen Brothers film.
Another Day, Another Time: Celebrating the Music of "Inside Llewyn Davis" included music inspired by the film from a host of artists including the Avett Brothers, Punch Brothers, Marcus Mumford, Patti Smith, Joan Baez and others. Stars from the film also performed, including Carrie Mulligan, Oscar Isaac (he plays the title role), and Stark Sands.
"Inside LLewyn Davis" won the Grand Prix Award at the Cannes Film Festival, and made its U.S. debut Saturday at the New York Film Festival. It opens in the U.S. in December. The soundtrack is available on Nov. 12.
