Suspect ID'd after window shot on Ohio school bus

DELAWARE, Ohio (AP) — A central Ohio sheriff's office says it has identified the person suspected of using a BB gun to shatter a window on a school bus that was carrying children.

Someone shot the bus window last Thursday morning as it was picking up elementary school students for the Olentangy Local School District in Lewis Center, north of Columbus. No one was seriously hurt, and the children were taken to school on a different bus.

The Delaware County Sheriff's Office says BB guns have been seized from the home of the suspect. Investigators didn't release the name or other details about the suspect.

The prosecutor's office is expected to review the case for possible criminal charges.
