Sept. 25. ALL DAY. ASTRO CONFERENCE — More than 11,000 attendees are expected at the American Society for Radiation Oncology conference in Atlanta. Attendees will include oncologists from all disciplines, medical physicists, dosimetrists, radiation therapists, radiation oncology nurses and nurse practitioners, biologists, physician assistants, practice administrators, industry representatives and other healthcare professionals.

Sept. 25. SAVANNAH FIRE DEPT. TESTS — More than 125 hopeful firefighter applicants are challenging the Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) this week at the National Guard Armory. CPAT is one of the final stages of the application process for individuals interested in becoming a Savannah firefighter. CPAT consists of eight separate, strategically located events that require applicants to proceed along a pre-determined path from event to event in a continuous manner.

Sept. 25. 12 p.m. BANK OF AMERICA FORECLOSURE CALL — The National Fair Housing Alliance (NFHA) and four of its member organizations will hold an online news conference to announce an amended federal housing discrimination complaint with additional evidence implicating Bank of America involving African-American and Latino neighborhoods in Atlanta, Dayton, Denver, Las Vegas, Memphis, Miami, Philadelphia, Tucson, and the Washington, D.C. metro area.
